Sadness and hope
My brother’s twins were born premature yesterday at only 28 weeks old. Unfortunately due to some complications, one of them, Mackenzie (who was only 1 lb 2 oz.), didn’t make it. She died surrounded by family and in my brother’s arms. :’( Thankfully her sister, Madison seems to be doing well so far (she’s only 2 lb 6 oz.). It was definitely a rough day...

So tonight I’m starting the “couch to 5K” program to train myself to do a 5k. Call it a late resolution perhaps, I’ve always said I wanted to do one but just made excuses not to (oh I have work that day, its raining, etc.), but this will finally be the year I do it.
I genuinely like walking and running because I feel it helps relieve stress. So this shouldn’t be too...
